Welcome to More Like Martha! I know many of you are thinking I am speaking of Martha Stewart, but I am referring to a very different Martha! The story appears in Luke 10:38. Martha opened her home to Jesus and his disciples. She was busy and distracted with all the preparations for the most important guest she would ever host. She showed her love and admiration by preparation and service. I am a “Martha” through and through!! In all aspects of my life, I show my love by serving and preparing for others.
As a women’s health Nurse Practitioner, I strive to provide the best care to each and every woman I see. In my personal life, I am constantly looking for new ways to prepare meals, sweet treats and care packages for the people I love. I am so excited to share my acts of service with each and every one of you! All the while carving out time to be a little more like Mary (Martha’s sister), who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said.
